Overview

In this lab, you will be creating new volumes and attaching them to a new instance, using both the command-line and dashboard.

Scenarios

You are the OpenStack Administrator at the Acme Company.
- You have been asked to create two new 1G volumes on the command line. The first will be called myvol and will be created with the open stack CLI and you will attach it to a new m1.tiny instance named myserver as /dev/vdb. You will then create a second volume using the cinder client named myvol2 and attach it to my server as /dev/vdc.
- You have been asked to create a new 1G volume in the dashboard, called myvol3 and attach it to the myserver instance.
