Create floating IPs and allocating them to a server.

Overview

In this lab, you will be creating floating IPs and allocating them to a server both on the command line and in the dashboard.

Lab Connection Information - UPDATED

How to Access Root:
Start Lab and connect via SSH using the generated credentials, then run sudo -i to login as root.

HORIZON LOGIN URL:
http://[IP Address]
Start lab, then access by copying SSH IP into new browser window

DEMO TENANT:
Username: demo
Password: openstack

CLOUD ADMIN:
Username: admin
Password: openstack

Scenarios

You are the OpenStack Administrator at the Acme Company.
- You have been tasked with creating a new floating IP and assigning it to a new instance named server1 in the demo project using the m1.tiny flavor and the cirros-0.3.4-x86_64-uec image on the command line.
- You have been tasked with creating a new floating IP and assigning it to the server1 instance in the dashboard.
