Provision Logical Volumes from provided disk space.
In this lab, we are going to walk through the basics of creating physical disks and volume groups, and using the logical volume manager to create logical volumes. At the end of this lab, you should have an understanding of LVM management on a Redhat Enterprise Linux server.
One of the virtual servers in your environment needs to have changes made to the storage subsystem. The new physical drives have been provisioned (installed) and are available for your use. You will need to identify the new drives and incorporate them into the existing Logical Volumes and be sure they are mounted for use.
We have the longest and most in depth courses about cloud and engineering topics on the web. All of our training content is included with every membership.
