Create multiple filesystem types using the mkfs and mke2fs commands, review the various filesystem types, and learn to change the default settings for the filesystem.
In this lab, we will explore the various tools and options for creating filesystems of various types on partitioned disk devices. You will be presented with a single CentOS 6 image containing an additional three disk devices, 20 GB in size, to follow along with the video examples or downloadable study guide.
1. Create one or more partitions from the provided disks
2. Understand disk structures like superblocks and inodes
3. Use various tools and options to create one or more filesystems across the previously created partitions
