We deploy the real environment, you take the scenario-based labs on us. Hands-on, from anywhere, at any time.

Time required: 2 Hours

Work with runlevels and boot targets on a 'systemd' Red Hat 7 system.

This lab will present you with a single Red Hat 7 'systemd' system. We will talk about how to work with boot targets and runlevels for sysvinit and change them.

NOTE: Do NOT reboot your lab server during this process to test any setting. Doing so will END the lab!

1. Change the default boot runlevel by editing the appropriate file
2. Alter the current runlevel WITHOUT rebooting the system
3. Observe and display the runlevel
4. Change the runlevel back, observe and display the new runlevel information
