Possessive Quantifiers

Length: 00:03:48

Lesson Summary:

While quantifiers are amazing when we need to repeat a token or expression, they can also prove to be a little too greedy when paired with the . wildcard, causing some unintended results with our matches. In this lesson, we learn how to pair the question mark metacharacter (?) with our two quantifiers, + and *, to create lazy or non-greedy matches and restrict the behavior of the quantifier.
