After that I'm thinking of diving deep into containers, does it make sense to go for Docker first and then tackle Kubernetes afterwards?
Docker is a prerequisite for any work with Kubernetes.
Thanks Mark, do you think it's neccassary/beneficial to delve into the weeds for docker in order to 'get' kubernetes? Or is it all abstracted away sufficiently that one needn't worry about what's going on under the hood to get accomplished at Kubernetes
