Dear linux academy,
I've passed the AWS security speciality . As Adrian says in the introduction, the course has all what you need for exam and even more.
because of NDA, i wanted to share what i think is aws philosophy in the exam.
For example let's say , in the course you will learn that walls are used to secure houses. In the exam, they will bring the same example twisted, it will be something like
" human need to live in a secure place, they need food to eat, TV to entertain themselves, which is true in the following statement,:
1- food should be secured to protect human well being.
2-TV is boring
3- food should be disposed so nobody will kill human.
because it's common sense, you will select one, the general concept is that you need to secure the house using walls. you should think as a security engineer, give advantages to AWS services, and don't think that questions will be straight.
i didn't get a high score and after seeing the report, I guess it's my confusion that starts when the question has the triangle the mixes my thoughts:
- cloud watch logs
-cloud watch events
- cloud trail
when i see those three i get confused as if a lambda function executes in my brain telling me to be.
good luck in the exam. for me i will take a warrior break, see the family. Then it's either aws big data because course description made me interested or aws architect pro, because it's well paid certificate and it's the natural career step for me.
