AWS certificates are removing prerequisites for specialty and professional exams. By the end of Octobers, you may take AWS professional and speciality exams like AWS certified architect professional exam WITHOUT the need to have pass AWS certified architect associate exam first. HUGE MONEY SAVING!!!!

@joelanzhang It is true that AWS has removed the prerequisites for specialty and professional exams, but those exams are still very difficult, even for people who have experience taking the Associate level exams.  I would still recommend taking the Associate level exams first.  Taking the professional level exam without the proper level of preparation and hands-on experience will result in a negative experience and ultimately be more expensive for many people because they are not adequately prepared.

Our goal at Linux Academy is to lay out the best path to help everyone succeed long-term and be adequately prepared for the real-world scenarios they may face in their IT career, and in my opinion, the best way to do that is to gain the Associate level knowledge and certification first before attempting the Professional level certification.
